Your roadmap to happy parenthood. We know that you have come a long way before deciding to embark on a surrogacy programme. Our team of experts have created a roadmap to make your special journey easier. We will be there for you each step of the way towards your wonderful dream of becoming parents.

• 1. Fill out the "Intended Parents Interest Form"
  By filling out the short "Intended Parents Interest Form" you can help us get to know you a little bit better and allow us to move onto our next step.
• 2. Consult with an ALEMONA manager
  We will arrange a call with you and your spouse to meet online and get to know your story better and discuss your wishes. Our manager will provide you with additional information and will answer all your questions about our services and the surrogacy process itself.
• 3. Choose a fertility clinic
  If you haven’t yet made a decision about the clinic, our manager will provide a list of the best fertility clinics in Kyiv, Ukraine. You will learn about the price differences, advantages and disadvantages of every clinic. Once you have made your choice, we will contact you with the clinic manager to plan your next steps.
• 4. Collect your medical records and documents
  Prepare all your documents and medical records beforehand, especially the documents that confirm your need for the surrogacy service. The clinic manager will help you navigate the list of documents that are necessary to start the programme.
• 5. Screening and IVF

  According to the list provided by the clinic, intended parents must have some medical tests and screenings carried out. Depending on the programme that your doctor chooses for you, tests and examinations may vary.

  There are different options that our agency and fertility clinics can provide:

  • IVF or IVF with donor’s oocytes programme
  • PGS-NGS screening (genetic screening of embryos)
  • Usage of vitrified embryos for ET, and if necessary, assistance in arranging the transportation of embryos from another country
• 6. Expert guidance throughout surrogate candidate matching process
  Once you fill out the questionnaire for choosing the right surrogate mother candidate, we start our search. Our team will do our very best to offer you a candidate who matches your criteria and wishes. It is also worth mentioning that we will only provide a candidate who has been fully checked and approved by a doctor, and who has a good reputation from her previous programmes. Usually it takes us up to six weeks to find you the best candidate.
• 7. Legal counselling, drafting and signing the contract, paperwork
  Our legal partner is Helen Babich law office, an expert in medical and fertility law since 2003. By choosing ALEMONA, you will have guaranteed access to legal services at the beginning of the programme, during the programme and after the childbirth.
• 8. Preparation for embryo transfer
  Once all the documentation is ready, the contracts have been signed and the surrogate mother candidate has been confirmed, we can start our preparation for the embryo transfer. It is important to mention that all our programmes follow the long protocol, meaning that your surrogate mother will not be able to get pregnant naturally. Embryo transfer is planned by the doctor in advance, taking into account the synchronisation of embryo development and endometrial growth of the surrogate mother.
• 9. HCG test
  14 days after the embryo transfer, your surrogate mother will have her first HCG tests in order to confirm her pregnancy. Human chorionic gonadotropin — or HCG — is a hormone produced by the placenta of a pregnant woman. If the test is positive and we find the child`s heartbeat after 14 more days, the pregnancy is confirmed and we have succeeded in this stage.
• 10. Ongoing coordination and care of the surrogate mother
  To ensure your future baby is healthy and safe, we have a coordinator who will keep in touch with your surrogate mother 24/7 You will be updated with the latest news and will be given the ultrasound photos and videos, so you can even follow your child's growth in the womb.
• 11. Birth of the baby and consequent legal support
  Once the baby is born, we will provide you with all the legal support you require to obtain the birth certificate on which you and your spouse are stated as the child's parents. We will arrange and prepare all the documentation necessary for the embassy to obtain travel documents for your child.
